Great Central Railway hand bill advertising excursions to Hull
Produced in 1900 for the Great Central Railway, this hand bill is advertising cheap excursion tickets to the Hull Fair and Pigeon Show. Organised by Dean & Dawson - the official Great Central travel agents - the train's destination was Hull's Corporation Pier, and this proximity to the sea meant that the discounted service would only run 'tide and weather permitting'.
