A gang of navvies near Haddenham, Buckinghamshire

A gang of navvies near Haddenham take time off from their work on the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line and assemble for the camera. Newton helped to offset the costs of his repeated expeditions along the Railway by selling copies of the photographs he took to the navvies themselves. How many of these men looked back on this picture and remembered their work on the Last Main Line?
