Sun Light Cottages, Friars Causeway, Leicester, circa 1895. These houses were some of the many properties which the Manchester, Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway demolished to make way for the London Extension. Henry Lovatt of Wolverhampton was the contractor who built this section of the new Line (Contract No.2, Leake to Aylestone). See on Route Map
