Gotham branch line junction with the GCR
'Junction with main [line] and Gotham branch', Nottinghamshire, circa 1900 (S. W. A. Newton's notes). The Gotham branch line was built between 1899 and 1900, and connected the London Extension to an industrial site. On the right of the photograph are the parapets of a typical Great Central girder bridge.
