Brick arch overbridge near Westbury, Buckinghamshire

Brick arch overbridge spanning a cutting near Westbury, Buckinghamshire, photographed circa 1897. This section of the Railway (Contract No. 6 Brackley to Quainton Road) was built by Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne. The permanent way has been laid, but the prominent sleepers suggest that more ballast is required before the line is ready for traffic.
