Occupation girder underbridge near Bradenham, Buckinghamshire

Girder occupation bridge under the Great Western & Great Central Joint Railway at Bradenham, Buckinghamshire, circa 1905. This low bridge has short brick wing-walls with an iron girder deck. The parapet is of a simple railing construction. Note the muddy nature of the track that leads down into Bradenham village and the new grass growing on the embankment. This was one of many such bridges on the Great Central's metals. See Newton - B 7/4.
