Exterior view of the London & North Western Railway's Aylesbury Station, seen sometime around 1897. A small sign on the station building reads 'Aylesbury Station', and a much larger sing nearby says ' London & North Western Ry Passenger Station'. The station drive is fenced off from the road in the foreground by a white painted wooden fence with a large gate at the left hand side. There are two gaps on the fence with small signs saying 'In' and 'Out'. Gas lights are positioned by these entrances. note the top-hatted man by the station building and the brick cobbles on the roadway.
