A view of the GCR rail tracks on top of a large embankment located near to Woodford and Byfield, Northamptonshire. The tracks are part of Contract No. 5 (Woodford to Brackley) awarded to Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne. Taken c1897, the photograph shows an occupation underbridge passing through the embankment.
