Double Railway Tracks
A view of the double set of Metropolitan Railway tracks located north of Quainton Road Station, Buckinghamshire. The photograph is taken at the location of the future junction with the GCR, part of Contract No 6 (Brackley to Quainton Road) awarded to Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne. Looking towards Quainton Road, the route of the GCR can be seen on the right coming south from Calvert.
