The photograph shows the line between High Wycombe and Loudwater and was constructed as part of the Northolt Junction to High Wycombe Contract awarded to Pauling & Co. of Westminster. The house in the foreground displays advertising claiming 'Cheapest House for Paper Hangings, E Meaners Brooks, Oxford Road, Wycombe'.
