Brick arch overbridge near Radstone in Northamptonshire

A brick arch overbridge with curved wing walls located near Radstone, Northamptonshire. This bridge was built as part of Contract No. 5 ( built by Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The photograph, taken on 31st July 1897, shows the bridge as fully completed but the railway track running beneath the bridge is still only a single line, with a second line not yet started. Track construction materials can be seen in foreground, alongside the trackbed. S. W. A. Newton describes the location as the 'Radstone - Syresham footpath, 75M 15C'. See on Route Map
