Brick arch occupation bridge near Radstone, Northamptonshire.

A brick arch underbridge with curved wing walls located near Radstone, Northamptonshire. This occupation bridge was built as part of Contract No. 5 (constructed by Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle-upon-Tyne). The photograph, taken on 31st July 1897, shows the bridge fully completed and, according to S. W. A. Newton's notes, it was 'a farmers accommodation bridge, Radstone, 74M 77C'. In the foreground is an open single 6-bar farm gate. See on Route Map
