Contractors' 0-6-0 saddletank locomotive, No. 13.
Manning Wardle & Co. 'K' class 0-6-0 saddletank, No. 13, ( Works No. 1144) of 1890. This contractors' locomotive is seen at rest with her crew and in Nottingham 28th August 1897. This section of the London Extension (Contract No. 1 - Annesley to East Leake) was built by Logan & Hemingway of Derbyshire. Note the large lumps of tipping waste in the foreground, probably the result of blasting. See on Route Map
