0-6-0 contractor's saddletank locomotive, NEWCASTLE pictured at Helmdon, Northamptonshire in 1897. The locomotive is pictured at rest with her crew and railwaymen whilst working on Contract No. 5 (Woodford to Brackley) built by Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. NEWCASTLE was built by Hudswell Clarke & Co. in 1882 and was given the works number 237. See on Route Map
