Contractors' 0-6-0 saddletank locomotive, '14'.

0-6-0 saddletank, '14', of Manning Wardle & Co. origin. The locomotive (No. 1153 of 1890) is seen with its crew when working on Contract No. 3 (from Aylestone to Rugby) near Ashlawn Road bridge in Rugby. The locomotive was owned by Topham, Jones & Railton who built this section of line between 1894 and 1899. '14' is seen in a cutting with one crew member on the open footplate and the other standing on the front buffer beam. Behind the locomotives is a selection of tipping wagons. See on Route Map
