Contractors' 0-6-0 saddletank locomotive, No. 15.

Manning Wardle & Co. 'K' class 0-6-0 saddletank, No. 15, (Works No. 1145) of 1890. No. 15 was one of several such locomotives not to carry a name, and is seen here with its three crew south of Willoughby in Warwickshire, circa 1897. The locomotive was employed on Contract No. 4 - Rugby to Woodford under T. Oliver & Son. Note the primitive weatherboard, the ornate lining, the extra wooden buffers for moving tipping wagons, and the missing front-left buffer. See on Route Map
