Contractors' 0-6-0 saddletank locomotive, BEACONSFIELD.

Manning Wardle & Co. 'K' class 0-6-0 saddletank locomotive, BEACONSFIELD, (No. 1535) of 1902, seen during the construction of the Great Western & Great Central Joint line near Loudwater in Buckinghamshire, circa 1905. The three members of the crew lean proudly against their locomotive, which has the benefit of a fully enclosed cab. The locomotive is marked 'P & Co. Ld. No. 58', identifying it as the property of Pauling & Co. of Westminster who built this section of line. See on Route Map
