Trafford Park AEC motorbus

Trafford Park AEC motorbus

Back to the story
T1448. As Trafford Park Estate developed, so did its need for an efficient transport system. In 1921 the Estates Company purchased three AEC buses. They provided a service between the Trafford Park Hotel and Patricroft Bridge. The buses were made available for private hire at weekends. The service was not a great success, being taken over in 1925.
