There are three different areas: modern Ornance Survey maps, original track plans and steam engine plans.

This section uses OS maps from 2003 to show the path of the GCR all the way from Manchester to London, with links to images throughout.

The Last Main Line website also contains pages from a book of plans created after a survey of the completed line in 1901.
