Rothley Station

Rothley Station

Go back to the records from the Rothley map.
L3237. This north facing view of Rothley Station was taken on 19th July 2002. The station was superbly restored by volunteers of the Main Line Steam Trust for use on the preserved Great Central Railway, and acted as the line's terminus until Leicester North station was opened in the early 1990's. The building nearest the camera is the toilet block, with the former waiting room and booking offices beyond.
