Children in fancy dress, Charwelton

Go back to the records from the Charwelton map.
L2527. A memorable photograph, entitled 'The Gypsies' by S.W.A. Newton himself, taken of six children in fancy dress posing outside the school at Charwelton, Northamptonshire. The picture is a wonderful example of the fascinating subjects that Newton managed to record during his repeated excursions along the route of the Great Central.
