L2286. A view along the newly laid permanent way, looking north towards the station buildings and wooden platforms at Akeman Street, Buckinghamshire. This section of the line (Grendon Underwood to Princes Risborough) was built by Louis P. Nott, and it connected the Metropolitan & Great Central route with the Great Western & Great Central Joint Railway.
