Bridge 350 - Swithland viaduct, Leicestershire

L2124. Looking east at bridge 350, one of two viaducts built to carry the London Extension across Swithland Reservoir. The photograph was taken from Brazil Wood, the small island that divided the viaduct into two distinct sections. Note the telegraph pole on the right of the picture: these have been retained by the Great Central preserved line as an authentic reminder of the age of steam.
