Bridge 423 at Lutterworth Station

Bridge 423 at Lutterworth Station

Go back to the records from the Cotesbach map.
L1951. A study of Bridge 423 looking west and from the road level in May 1977. The bridge provided pedestrian access to Lutterworth Station via a staircase leading up to the platforms from beneath the bridge - hidden by the shadows in this view. By 1977, all traces of the station and platforms have been removed. However, the parapets of Bridge 423 still stand along with two short sections of the old platform on either side of the central box parapet. Today in 2003, a housing estate surrounds this site, although the bridge is still intact.
