L1923. This photograph taken in June 1977 shows the lattice parapets belonging to Bridge 441, a short distance from Newton in Warwickshire. This type of bridge was very common on the GCR London Extension and could be found all along its length. This view is taken from the trackbed, looking north towards Bridge 440. Note the painted bridge number on the left-hand parapet wall.
