Viaduct under construction, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire.

The three visible arches of this viaduct are still in the construction stage - centring (a type of wooden scaffolding) is in place to support the structure until brickwork has been completed.
Situated in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, its function was to carry the Great Western and Great Central Joint Railway over the lane pictured (now the A413 from Uxbridge to Chalfont St. Peter). See on Route Map
