The last Diesel Multiple Unit to pass through Loughborough Central Station in March 1969
This photograph, taken by Mike Jones (Leics County Councillor), was taken on the day that the last Diesel Multiple Unit passed through Loughborough Central Station in March 1969, prior to the final closure of the line. The unit is a British Railways Class 105.
Also in the picture is Mike's family and what is believed to be the Herbert Morris Crane factory in the background.
