0-4-0 Aveling & Porter engine No. 807
Photographed in June 1970 during its stay at Clapham Museum, this diminutive engine is the Aveling & Porter 0-4-0 chain driven locomotive No. 807 of 1872. Together with its partner engine No. 846, these remarkable machines brought motive power to the then called Brill (or Wotton) Tramway. No. 807 is now in the collection of London's Transport Museum.
