Bridge 314 - Barnstone tunnel, Nottinghamshire

A view through the trees towards the north portal of Barnstone Tunnel, a comparatively short structure situated south of East Leake that brought the London Extension under Rempstone Road. Despite this image of apparent dereliction, this section of the Railway is still in use today, both as a freight route and as part of the Great Central North preserved line. See on Route Map
