Quorn & Woodhouse Station, Leicestershire

Looking north along the Great Central preserved line towards Quorn & Woodhouse Station. As with the majority of stations on the London Extension, passengers would have reached the single 'island' platform via the staircase that led down from the centre of the girder overbridge. Note the two decorative iron lamp poles: handsome relics of the Last Main Line that have since been restored. See on Route Map
