L3449. This bridge with girder deck and lattice parapets (No. 41a) was constructed in Cosby, Leicestershire, by the Great Central Railway Company. It enabled the Aylestone to Rugby Branch of the London Extension to cross over the existing Midland Railway Leicester to Rugby line. Two brick-arch overbridges can be seen further down the double line - these enabled roads to cross the route.
