L3263. The south portal of Mansfield Road Tunnel, as seen from the Victoria Centre car park which is built on the site of Nottingham Victoria Station. Trains coming into Nottingham from the north would enter this 1,200 yard long tunnel and travel beneath the city - emerging at here Victoria Station. The station platforms would have started roughly where the solid wall on the left ends. This was the state of the tunnel on 24th September 2002.
