L3260. Most of the large stations along the London Extension could boast a company hotel. Marylebone and Nottingham had very large and luxurious hotels, while Leicester and Loughborough's were both a little more modest. Nottingham's Victoria Station Hotel was a very grand building, located on Milton Street alongside Victoria Station. Fortunately, the hotel is still in use today and now forms part of the Hilton hotel chain. This view of the hotel was taken in September 2002. | |
