Cut back embankment at Red Hill Way in Belgrave, Leicester.

L3231. This cutback section of the old Great Central Railway embankment is situated next to Red Hill Way on the border between the Belgrave and Birstall areas of the city. The photograph was taken from the terminus station of the preserved Great Central Railway, known as Leicester North. Incidentally, this new station is built just to the south of the old Great Central's original Belgrave & Birstall station.
