Go back to the records from the Leicester North map.
L3190. Bridge 378 is a large brick and iron structure that carries Leicester's Upperton Road over the site of the Great Central Railway's former goods yards. This south facing photograph from 15th July 2002, shows the eastern end of the structure and was taken from Bridge 377 - a small girder bridge over the old River Soar. Behind the bridge, just out of shot, is the former Great Central Wagon Repair Shop which is now in use as a factory.
