L3177. This photograph, taken on 2nd July 1955, shows former Great Western Railway 'King' class 4-6-0 No. 6006, KING GEORGE I, at Princes Risborough on the old Great Western & Great Central joint line. The locomotive is heading a Birmingham-bound train while ex-LNER L1 2-6-4T, No. 67752 waits with a suburban train to the left. This line is still in operation today in 2003.
