L3137. Bridge 425, an imposing brick arch structure that brought the London Extension across the River Swift south of Lutterworth. As this photograph shows, the river was diverted under the embankment via a concrete walled channel. Visible beyond is a boiler and what appears to be a temporary shelter. | |
