L3055. Looking north from the Great Central embankment towards the gasworks at Whetstone, Leicestershire. On the right of the picture is the parapet of bridge no. 397, the girder structure which carried the Last Main Line over Enderby Road. Just visible beyond is the parapet of bridge no. 396, the point at which the route crossed the London & North Western Railway.
