The remains of the north bay platform at Leicester Central Station

The remains of the north bay platform at Leicester Central Station

Go back to the records from the Leicester North map.
L3051. At the northern end of the old Leicester Central Station site are the stunted remains of the old bay platforms. Only the fact that they are an integral part of the All Saints Road bridge below has ensured the survival of this little piece of history. This view, showing the bays in an unusually car-free state, was taken in July 2002.
