L3015. Twin tracks of completed permanent way sweep out of sight at a neatly dressed cutting. As the curve is too steep to be on the route of the London Extension's main line, the picture is thought to have been taken at the short spur which joined the Stratford & Midland Junction Railway with the Great Central line south of Woodford, Northamptonshire.
