L2915. A wonderful photograph, taken around 1900 looking south towards a number of wagons on the extensive Great Central sidings at Woodford Halse. Just in front of the signal box on the right is the brick wing wall of the bridge that carried the line across Byfield Road. On the left is the row of terraced housing on Sidney Road. The building at the bottom left corner of the picture is thought to have been the company's electric light works.
