L2800. This photograph was taken looking north during the rebuilding of Princes Risborough Station. An existing stop on the Great Western Railway, the facilities at Risborough were substantially rebuilt for use on the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line, the alternative route into the capital that was chosen for the London Extension. Mackay & Davies of Cardiff was the contractor responsible for the work. Despite the disruption, it seems to be pretty much business as usual for the station's operation, as a line of wagons laden with goods waits beside the construction site.
