L2771. Two lines of contractor's temporary railway pass beneath the skewed plate girder overbridge that brought Annesley Road across the London Extension near Hucknall. On the left is a section of wooden scaffolding, doubtless removed soon after this picture was taken as these imposing brick wing walls are almost complete. Visible beyond is the brick and girder bridge that carried Washdyke Lane. | |
