L2770. Looking down from the northern portal of Dunton Bassett tunnel towards a line of tipping wagons in an unfinished cutting. A short distance to the north was the site of the Great Central station at Ashby Magna. From the lines of scraped earth at the foot of the far wall of the cutting, it is clear that the bucket of a steam shovel has been at work.
