Aylesbury Underground station, Buckinghamshire

Aylesbury Underground station, Buckinghamshire

Go back to the records from the Aylesbury map.
L2636. Photographed in February 1934, this is the entrance to the Metropolitan Railway's station at Aylesbury. As the station lay on the Metropolitan & Great Central Joint line, and as passengers could also access the Great Western Railway via the route to Princes Risborough, L.N.E.R. (into which the Great Central was absorbed in 1923), G.W.R. and Metropolitan poster boards are all displayed.
