L2391. A view across the permanent way towards the platform buildings of Leicester's Great Central Station, photographed around 1898. Built by Henry Lovatt & Co. as part of Contract No. 2 (Leake to Aylestone), the station was one of the final parts of the Last Main Line to be completed.
