L2379. This temporary wooden gateway served as the entrance to the Alpha Road contractor's depot in Marylebone. The site was presumably operated by J.T. Firbank of London Bridge, the firm responsible for building Contract No. 7 (Hampstead to Marylebone) of the Last Main Line.
