L2223. This photograph was taken looking south at a girder overbridge crossing the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line. Visible beyond is the platform of High Wycombe Station. A line permanent way has already been laid on both sides of the track bed, although a layer of ballast has yet to be packed over the remaining section of hard core. Note the large bank of telegraph wires rising above the bridge.
