L2186. This is bridge 324, a handsome and imposing structure that carried the London Extension over an occupation track north of Loughborough. Photographed eight years after the Railway's closure, and showing few signs of the neglect and disuse that are afflicting the path below, the bridge appears to be in a relatively good state of repair.
