Bridges 324 & 325 - Loughborough, Leicestershire

Bridges 324 & 325 - Loughborough, Leicestershire

Go back to the records from the Loughborough North map.
L2183. Photographed in December 1977, this is the view north along an overgrown embankment towards two relics of the Last Main Line. On the left is the parapet of bridge 324, a brick arch structure that carried the London Extension over the short occupation track that led to the girder bridge on the right (no. 325). The latter was built to span the watercourse that ran parallel with the Railway for almost a mile.
